CARE is coordinating with the World Bank and FAO gender and agriculture teams to deliver a practitioner training in Gender and Climate Smart Agriculture (next month in Dar es Salaam).
- Last year CARE provided extensive technical input to the FAO Gender, Climate and Agriculture module which is now part of the FAO curriculum (link to module is in the invitation if interested in detail)
- We were then contacted by the Bank and FAO to help convene the inaugural training – and we will be providing technical input to revisions after the event
- The CARE Tanzania team will present learning from Pathways on the integration of gender in a programme cycle
- Ministry, FAO, IFAD, peer agencies and national civil society will attend the training – FAO intends to replicate in other national capitals pending additional funds from the Bank
